Following on from the fantastic and successful Pink Ribbon day in 2008, The Smile Team dental practice was again coloured pink for a day as team members were dressed in Pink Ribbon Foundation T-shirts, and Pink Ribbon balloons filled the rooms.

After weighing up the pros and cons, Money Magazine quoted The Smile Team in summarising "a balanced diet, brushing more thoroughly and flossing daily will make a bigger difference to minimising decay and gum disease than changing to a power toothbrush alone"

The Smile Team hosts Pink Ribbon Breakfast fundraiser

The Smile Team dental practice was turned pink for a day. Delicious home made scones were freshly baked by enthusiastic team members as very special treats supporting a very worthy cause.

The goal of the day was to create an especially happy and positive dental visit for everyone, and in the process help to increase awareness for the Pink Ribbon foundation and their excellent ongoing efforts to find a cure for Breast Cancer.

We would like to thank everyone for making The Smile Team's first Pink Ribbon day such a memorable and fun filled day.

Their findings are that it's a good idea, but that the improvement for most people is just going to be modest.
