A dentist that's committed to continuing education

Category: News and updates Written by

As part of providing exceptional dental care, The Smile Team dental practice has always placed great importance and emphasis on patient health and safety. Our dental team regularly engage in professional development and training including topics of infection control and first aid training on top of clinical topics of dental gum disease therapy, dental restorations, dental crowns and bridge treatment, dental implants to name a few.

We strongly believe in a philosophy to care for our dental patients in the safest way possible, where keeping to the highest level of infection control and first aid training is as important as obtaining a beautiful long lasting result in your dental treatment.  As a part of this philosophy, The Smile Team dental practice has regularly dedicated team training days to maintain Australian Dental Association levels of infection control, and first aid skills.  Recently, the wonderful guru of dental infection control Teresa Davine from the Australian Dental Association shared her knowledge and time with our dental team.

In addition to these recent team training days, The Smile Team members will be undertaking continuing education in 2016 on the topics such as sleep dentistry, dental implants therapy, porcelain ceramic restorations, how to create a super dental practice, and providing customer care service.

Our dentists, oral health therapists, and dental assistants are all dedicate to patient management in the dental environment and are committed to caring for your wellbeing beyond simply the mouth.  It is in keeping with creating a safe, comfortable, relaxing and the best dental clinic for you and your family's dental treatment.  We are committed and dedicated to maintaining the highest level of patient care at our Balwyn North dental rooms.
